Dental Hygiene Therapy
A comprehensive oral health treatment that may include: a dental hygiene assessment, oral cancer screening, scaling/debridement, polishing of teeth, fluoride treatment and personalized oral hygiene instruction. This therapy helps prevent gum disease, cavities, and bad breath, ensuring optimal dental health. Regular sessions promote a confident, healthy smile.
Dental Hygiene Assessement
An individualized treatment plan will be developed based on a thorough review of your medical and dental histories, a blood pressure check, a comprehensive assessment of your teeth and gums, and an oral cancer screening.
Oral Cancer Screening
Oral cancer screening is a vital preventative measure that involves a thorough examination of the mouth, lips, tongue, and throat to detect early signs of oral cancer. This painless procedure helps identify abnormalities, allowing for timely diagnosis and intervention. Regular screenings are essential for early detection, improving the chances of successful treatment and overall health.
Scaling and Debridement
A Dental Hygiene treatment that involves removing soft deposit (plaque) and hard deposit (calculus) from the teeth, above and below the gumline using hand instruments and/or ultrasonic water scaler.
Stain Removal/Polishing
A Dental Hygiene Treatment aimed at eliminating extrinsic tooth stains caused by factors such as coffee, tea, wine, tobacco and certain foods. This process uses a specialized polishing paste to remove stains from the tooth surface, resulting in a brighter, whiter smile.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride treatments are vital for strengthening teeth and preventing decay. We offer professional fluoride treatments for both adults and children to ensure optimal oral health.
Oral Hygiene Instruction

If you don’t have the space for in-home dental hygiene care, we also offer standard dental hygiene care at our private clinic in Stoney Creek. Our clinic is designed to provide a comfortable , sensory-sensitive home environment tailored to your family's unique dental care needs.
Requirements for In-Home Appointments
An open space on the main floor of your home or workplace is ideal, providing enough room to set up a dental chair and portable equipment, along with easy access to an electrical outlet. **Please note that in-home appointments not confirmed by 24 hours will be canceled due to the high need for this service.
Exceptional Infection Control and Sterilization

Your safety is our top priority at AMB Mobile Dental Hygiene Services. We adhere to strict protocols for the sterilization and transportation of all our mobile dental equipment and instruments. As a mobile dental hygienist, infection control is a standard practice, regardless of the location.
We diligently follow all measures to ensure safety, as we ensure you that all guidelines from Public Health, Infection prevention and control (IPAC) principles and current evidence-based practice standards are continuously upheld.

Hello! My name is Anita Brind, and I am an Independent Registered Dental Hygienist licensed with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario. I serve Stoney Creek and the surrounding areas, bringing 15 years experience as a dental hygienist.
Currently, I also work at a general dental practice in Toronto and have been independent since 2024.
I am dedicated to providing high-quality dental hygiene care, tailored to your individual needs while enhancing access, particularly for vulnerable populations and community members. I am passionate about promoting oral health and well-being,
I offer services at my private clinic at home and through in-home visits, ensuring comfort and security for those who prefer treatment in familiar settings.
